Coleridge passed through here in 1802 & the opening stories of The Mabinogion are set around Narberth.
Come and join Pwyll and his retinue for a summer picnic in the grounds of Narberth Castle!
Bring a blanket, a picnic, a bottle and music and stories to share.
The Cheerful Project, Narberth Museum and the Coleridge Festival in Wales are joining forces for a relaxed and fun evening of eating, drinking, stories and merriment. As part of the Coleridge Festival's 80 day adventure around Wales, in search of hidden Welsh treasure.
Come along and discover some Welsh Treasure right on your doorstep!
Inspired by the first tale of the Mabinogion where Pwyll, Prince of Dyfed sets off from his castle in Narberth. In the spirit of the ancient Celts we want you to bring a song, instrument or story to share if you dare!
All welcome whether you're a storyteller or not.
